Rawr. Welcome to Alvirne High School's Class Act's website. As a theatre troupe,
we are full of the most life, the most energy, the most dedication, ability, will to survive, humour, innovation, power, and
melodrama that you are likely to be seeing in a high school group. In fact, it's actually almost a misnomer to refer to us
as a high school group, because we're so much more. We are not just actors, either. We laugh, we love, we cry, we smile, we
scream, we stumble, we remember, we forget, we breathe, we live on the stage. We bring the characters to life. We also bring
up the lights or black them out, add the necessary sound effects, publicise, manage the house, take care of the props, design
the sets, work on the costumes, paint the makeup. We bring the characters to life. This is no paltry attempt, this is real.
This is passion, this is drama. Everyone who is a part of Class Act is our soul; we are all one. When the lights go up, whether
we are stepping onto the stage to act, or sitting in the shadows as a technician, our hearts all rise as one and the adrenaline
flows. This is not just a club, not just a group of friends, not just a family, but a unity of the creative souls. It is our
life.
