There are always a variety of trips and excursions planned by and for Class
Act members, as well as anyone who is interested, to local theatre and other events.
Trips:
SPAMALOT! Are you a fan of Monty Python? Does the Holy Grail make
you think of coconuts, African swallows, the Castle Anthrax, flesh wounds, Brave Brave Brave Brave Sir Robin, large wooden
rabbits, or evil attack rabbits? If any of the above rings a bell or more, or sounds amusing, then you should see or contact
Mrs. LaFrance about this year's annual trip to New York City to see a Broadway show. We'll be daytripping it on May 21st (a
Saturday) on a luxury bus, and sitting in the front mezzanine (even better seats than the fantastic ones we had for Wicked
last year), for only $106 (meals, souvenirs, and batteries not included). Spamalot is a stage productio of famed British
comedy Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and includes many famous actors, from John Cleese as the Voice of God to the
singing Ebay Clerk as that prince with the penchant for breaking into song. We have 54 tickets available this year, but it's
guaranteed to be a fast sell, so make sure you get your seats. Class Act members have first dibs, with Theatre Arts kids in
close second.
FESTIVAL!! Like, oh em gee, who'd have thought it was time for Festival already? Yes, my
theatre darlings, we went to Hillsboro-Deering High School for the New Hampshire Educational Theatre Guild's annual Festival,
and now we're going on to States (which is still most certainly not a competition). Cast and Crew of Bang Bang
are required to go, and anyone else who wants to drive all the way up there to Gilford to see us can feel free to see Mrs.
LaFrance for information. The dates are April 15 and 16, Friday and Saturday.
